Weekly (or monthly!) Recap 5/1 - 6/4

How much extra money did you earn this week? How much did you save? Here's my weekly recap of money/gift cards earned, cash saved by using coupons, and freebies received in the mail.

It's fun to see your savings/earnings amounts all added up. It clearly shows that it's time well spent when you cut coupons, hunt for sales, and make little bits of money here and there. I've gotten a little behind in my weekly recaps, so here's my recap for the past month, 5/1/11 - 6/4/11.

Cash/Checks/Gift Cards Received
$10.00..... Amazon.com gift card from Swagbucks (Get paid to search, it's free!)
$70.90..... Allstate Insurance Safe Driving Bonus Check
$0.11....... YouData (Paid to view ads)
$3.42....... PayPal Debit Card Rewards
$16.63..... Mr.Rebates (Cash back for shopping)
$25.00..... Credit Card Rewards
Total: $126.06

Coupon Savings
$35.59..... Acme
$1.98....... Target
$43.23..... Kohl's
$22.73..... Walmart
$20.00..... Fashion Bug
Total: $123.53

Freebies
2 PC Game Downloads - Diner Dash and Coffee Rush from Amazon's Ten Days of Free Games
MP3 Download - Save Me by Shinedown
L'il Critters Omega-3 Gummy Fish Vitamin samples

Note:  I'm sure that I'm missing alot of coupon savings, freebies and maybe some earnings as well from the past month.  It's hard to look back over a whole month when I wasn't keeping track of things. That's why I prefer to recap weekly, but life just got busy and my lil blog was forgotten :(  Better luck next time, lol!

Total 2011 Cash/Checks/Gift Cards Received: $908.22
Total 2011 Coupon Savings: $845.14

Do you ever use discounted gift cards? The savings really adds up! You can almost always find Barnes & Noble gift cards for 15% off, Kohl's for 9% off, etc. I always keep them handy for stores I normally shop. http://www.TheBudgetDiet.com/how-to-find-discounted-gift-cards

You did a great job. I'm especially impressed with the big savings at Walmart! You must have had a lot of coupons.

Here's another fun challenge to help you save money: DON'T PAY FULL PRICE FOR ANYTHING! It will force you to look for deals or wait for bargains or just do without! http://www.TheBudgetDiet.com/money-saving-challenge-dont-pay-full-price-for-anything
