$1.00 off coupon for Bagel Bites

I looooove Bagel Bites. They make a great lunch... cooked till slightly crunchy in the toaster oven. Yummy!

(By the way... whenever I toast bread in my new toaster oven, condensation forms on the glass door and steam comes out. Isn't that weird? And a possible fire hazard?)

Anyway, you don't care about my toaster oven issues. You're here for the coupon.

You can find and print that coupon HERE. It's for $1.00 off two any size packages of Bagel Bites.

How I've earned over $165 in FREE Amazon Gift Cards

By far, my favorite way to earn money online is using the paid search site, Swagbucks.

So far, I've been paid $165 in Amazon.com gift cards!!! Plus I have $10 more that I've cashed in for and I'm expecting to receive within the next week. This is definitely a great money-maker.

What is Swagbucks? Swagbucks is a search engine that awards you points just for using it. What do you do with those points? You can cash them in for free gift cards to Amazon and a variety of other stores. Or you can redeem your points for other prizes.

The Swagbucks search results are powered by Google and Ask.com. So you know that you're getting high-quality results. And you probably do several searches per day already, so it's super easy to do those searches through Swagbucks instead so that you can get rewarded for them.

How do you get points? Each time you search you have a chance to randomly win Swagbucks. You can win 1 at a time or you can win 5 or even 100. The most commonly won is 1 Swagbuck with the higher point Swagbucks being more rare... but they are out there. Especially on Fridays when they have alot more given out.

On a normal day I win 2 Swagbucks. Plus I refer others, and I earn what they earn... up to 100 Swagbucks each! Many times I earn enough to cash out for a $5 Amazon gift card (at 45 Swagbucks) each week. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

There are other ways to earn Swagbucks too. Sign up for their newsletter. It's not sent out too often, but when it is, it will contain a Swagcode, usually worth 1 Swagbuck.

Also follow along on the Swagbucks blog, their Facebook page, and their Twitter page. All those places help you find hidden Swagcodes that are worth 1 or more Swagbucks.

I hope that's enough to convince you. Swagbucks really is a great program. It's quick and easy to use. It's absolutely free. And you earn FREE gift cards. What's not to love? Sign up here.

Spring Cleaning & a Giveaway!

Have you started your spring cleaning yet? Not me. Soon enough though... especially since we're hoping to put our house on the market and move sometime in the hopefully-not-so-distant future.

Anyway, recently I was sent an awesome assortment of Playtex gloves to review and giveaway to my lovely readers! First, let me tell you that there will be not just one, but two winners of this giveaway! Yay!

Now, lemme tell ya about some of these Playtex gloves. First up are the Playtex Living Gloves. These are reusable cleaning gloves. They come in sizes small, medium and large so you can get ones that'll fit you, your spouse, and your darling, chore-conquering children.

These gloves come in PURPLE, which I love! Oh and they are a nice length, in that they cover your wrist and come down your arm about 6 inches or so. A new feature that these gloves have is a Drip-Catch Cuff. So when you're scrubbing away at something and your arm is reaching upright, the dirty goo and water won't run straight down your arm into your shirt. Looks pretty handy dandy.

Another one of the glove samples I received were the Playtex Disposables Great Lengths gloves. These come in One Size Fits All. There are 30 gloves per pack, so they'll last awhile... especially around here since we don't use many disposable products.

These are great for the extra messy jobs when you'll want to toss the gloves after use. These look great for cleaning up mildew, mold or pet messes.

Oh, and like the last pair, these gloves have an extra long length so they cover a good portion of your arm. No more feeling so icky after a good cleaning job.

And lastly are the Playtex Disposables Clean Cuisine gloves. These gloves are made for handling raw meat, poultry and seafood. I don't know about you, but I'm super squeamish about handling raw meat... that's why Hubby does most of the cooking.

The Clean Cuisine gloves come in sizes small, medium and large. And they come 30 to a pack as well.

Now on to that giveaway! Here's your chance to win a nice assortment of all three of these types of Playtex gloves in various sizes.

To enter, just leave your name and email address in the giveaway form below (not in the comments). Your info will be entered into a spreadsheet that only I can view so that your email address will not be spammed.

Giveaway is open to those with a US mailing address and entries will be accepted through Saturday 5/2/09. I'll randomly pick two winners and notify them via email by Monday 5/4/09.

$1.00 off Earth Friendly Cleaners or Baby Products

Have you tried Seventh Generation yet? They have a wide assortment of Earth-friendly items like baby products, cleaners, paper products and feminine care.

Their products are made without chlorine and other harsh chemicals so they are gentler on the skin and on the environment. Several of their products are biodegradable/compostable and some of their packaging is recyclable.

I never knew they carried such a wide variety of products. So far I've only tried some of the feminine products. I'm happy with those and I'm looking to try the dishwasher powder, the rinse aid and the dryer sheets. We're slowly buy surely trying to make a complete switch to all earth-friendlier products.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. I found a few Seventh Generation printable coupons that you may be interested in. They are for $1.00 off any one Seventh Generation Dishwashing product, $2.00 off any one Seventh Generation Diaper product and $1.00 off any one Seventh Generation product.

You can find those coupons here. Just note, that they'll ask you to sign up first in order to print the coupons. I just signed up and I promise, it was quick and painless.

If you've already been using some of the Seventh Generation products, how have they been working for you? Are you happy with them? I'm especially interested in how well the dishwashing powder works. If you've tried it, fill me in.

Huggies 'Enjoy the Ride' Rewards Program

Rewards programs are great, aren't they? I mean, if you're going to be buying something anyway, you might as well get a little something extra out of the deal.

I'm sure many of my readers with little ones in diapers are already members of the Pampers Gifts to Grow program. If not, then sign up... it's free! It's a great program where you collect points from codes on their products. Redeem the codes for all kinds of stuff like photo prints, gift cards, and my fav, the free box of Cheerios coupon.

Anyway, on to the point of this post. Huggies now has a rewards program called Enjoy the Ride. It's not as great as the Pampers program, but hey it's free, so I'll take it.

With this Enjoy the Ride program, you collect points and then you cash in your points for sweepstakes entries. Their site also states that you'll be able to use points to play Instant Win games or to donate to charity.

So, where do you get these points? You can earn points for signing up and then doing things on their site like participating in polls, watching videos and browsing sites. You can also earn points for referring friends through email.

I've only been a member of this program for about a week and I haven't really spent much time doing anything with it. When I signed up I got 10 points and I completed a quick poll and got another point. I also watched a video and received another 2 points.

I'd recommend checking this program out and signing up. Now, I'm not a huge fan of the fact that your points are mainly redeemed for contests, BUT I never really pass up on free rewards programs.

This is because you never know when it will benefit you... especially when program changes occur. That's what happened to me with the Stouffer's Dinner Club rewards program and I'm so glad I stuck with it so that I could finally benefit.

FREE after Rebate: Reynold's Wrap

I love that many companies are trying to make their products more environmentally friendly. It sure does make it easier to live an environmentally friendly life.

Of course, the key to really being environmentally friendly is to use (and waste) less. But for the things that you do use, it's great to choose something that is leaving less of an impact on the earth. And everyday it's getting easier to do that as more choices are popping up.

(Just be wary of prodcuts claiming to be "natural" or "green" when they are in fact, not! Unfortunately many companies are taking advantage of consumers wanting to go green.)

Anyway, off my soapbox and on to that freebie alert that I mentioned. For Earth Day (tomorrow), Reynold's Wrap wants you to try their Foil from 100% Recycled Aluminum. And they want you to try it FREE! Gotta love the freebies, right?

To get your free roll of Reynold's Wrap, you'll need to complete a mail-in rebate. The rebate will be for up to $3.99. Tomorrow only, you will be able to download a form for the rebate. Quantities will be limited so be sure to act on getting this form before they pull it off the site.

You can go HERE for more info, to see where to get your form and to sign up for them to send you a reminder email tomorrow.

Can you make money online with YouData?

So I've been a member of YouData for about 2 months now. And I want to share this program with you so you can see if you can really earn money online with them.

In the 2 months that I've been a member I've been paid $10.01. Not bad. It's nothing you're going to get rich from, but it is FREE money, and who passes that up? Not me.

If you're wondering what YouData is, here's a quick summary. YouData pays you to view ads. You know how when you visit a site, there may be ads on the sidebars? Well this is similar to that, except you're getting paid for your time to view the ad.

You can view ads directly on their site, you can download the ad viewer, or you can view ads on anyone's site that has the viewer located there. You get paid for each ad viewed and clicked on. Then they send your payments to you weekly via PayPal.

Some of the great things about YouData:

-Anyone can earn money with these ads, no need to be a Blogger
-You are paid weekly, every Friday via PayPal
-Payments are automatic, no need to cash out
-They have a new referral program, so you can earn cash by referring others

Like I said before, so far I've earned $10.01 with YouData. The first week, there were tons of ads to view and I made $4.64. Since then, there have only been a few ads available each week and my payments are around $0.29 - $0.95.

Obviously I wish there were more ads to view and that I could earn more each week like I did during the first week. But, hey its free money to me and it took very little time to do. So no big deal.

Also the more people that sign up for YouData, the more advertisers they will have sign up. This will result in more ads being available for us to view and make money from! So I'm hoping this program really takes off. But in the meantime, I'm enjoying getting a little bit of change here and there.

You can sign up for your free YouData account here and start earning cash.

Favorite Things: Kids' Bath Color Tabs

One of the things that my 3 year old really looks forward to is Tubby Time. Sure she enjoys painting, dancing, singing and going to the park, but she also really loves her baths.

Are most kids that excited by bath time? I dunno. My 1 year old has only recently reached the point where he doesn't cry when he gets a bath... so we'll see how he turns out on down the road.

Anyway, to make Tubby Time more fun we have a nice assortment of bath toys... boats, a bucket, a doll, foam ABC's that stick to the tub walls, bath crayons (which I don't love cause they are a pain) and a few other toys.

But, by far the biggest hit has been the bath color tabs. Have you used these? They are little color tabs that you drop in the bath water and they turn the water different colors.

My daughter likes to pick out her water color for each bath and she has even learned what colors to combine to make a new color! So much fun for her... so they are now going on my Favorite Things list.

This is a part of my new series, Favorite Things. And it's exactly that. I'm highlighting different products, foods, stores, or whatever, that I love. (Just a reminder that my opinion can NOT be bought. I'll only post about something that I really do like and use!)

Tasty Tuesday: Cheesy Chicken & Rice

Here we go with another round of Tasty Tuesday. This week I'm sharing our recipe for Cheesy Chicken & Rice.

We adapted this from a recipe that I saw on an ad for Campbell's Soup. Super yummy and my kids (ages 3 & 1) love it too.

(Sorry for the crappy quality pics, but the batteries in my camera were dead, so I was left to use my phone's camera.)

Ingredients:

2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups white rice
3 slices bread
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
1 cup mixed veggies (optional)

Directions:

1. Cut chicken into small, nugget-sized pieces.

2. Cook the chicken in the microwave for 5 minutes.

3. While the chicken is cooking, take your 3 slices of bread and break them up into small dime-sized pieces and place in a baking dish.

4. Cook rice according to package directions. When finished, turn off the burner, but leave the rice in the pot.

5. Combine the Cream of Chicken soup in with the rice.

6. Next add in the shredded cheese.

7. Then toss in your cooked chicken.

8. If you are using veggies, you would put them in at this point. We usually toss in a cup of frozen mixed veggies, but forgot this time.

9. Mix it all up.

10. Spread your mixture out in the baking dish, right over your bread pieces.

11. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes and enjoy!

I'm so excited about Stouffer's latest addition to their Dinner Club rewards program. It's like a whole new program... and finally something I will benefit from!

You can now redeem your accumulated points for items in their brand new Rewards Catalog. They have things like Stouffer's coupons, free photo prints, magazine subscriptions, DVDs and song downloads, among a few other things.

I just redeemed 600 points for a reusable shopping bag and a coupon for $1.00 off 3 Stouffer's. So happy to finally be benefiting from their program. This is a great reminder to always sign up for rewards programs if it's a product you use because you never know when it'll be of benefit to you!

How do you get the points? Each entree has a code on the inside of the box. Each one is worth 20 points. Just enter it on their site. For a list of the participating products, look HERE.

They also have occasional surveys and monthly polls where you can earn 2-8 points each! These are not emailed to you or anything, so you have to log in to check for them. I always forget about these and have missed out on alot of points. So I need to try and remember more often.

I had signed up for the Dinner Club awhile back, but really hadn't used any of my points. This was because the points were used for auctions of gift cards on their site. I never had enough points to actually win an auction and never got anything.

The only thing I got was a free reusable shopping bag when I donated some of my points to feed the hungry during a special promotion. So, that was great, but I was really hoping for more. And now they have it. So yay!

Only issue now is that it'll take quite awhile for my points to accumulate since we don't buy these all that often. I'll eat one for lunch maybe once a week or so. And sometime's Hubby has one. But that's about it.

We're not too crazy about the micro meals... first because we'd much rather have something fresh, but also because it's not too great to be heating up food in a plastic container in the microwave. And then there's the waste of the plastic container that must be trashed.

But anyway, off the soapbox on that one. We do use these occasionally and I'm glad there's a program that'll reward me for it. Gotta love free stuff.

By the way, the Stouffer's Dinner Club does still have the auctions for gift cards and such, just incase you're interested in that.
