How to remove the blogger navigation bar...

I just wanted to pass along this helpful little tip.

I know many bloggers have the Blogger naviation bar at the top of their blogs. And I know many of you, like me, want it to disappear. It takes up valuable space and can be slightly unattractive next to our pretty blog templates.

Unfortunately Blogger does not give you an easy option for removing it. BUT... I found out how to do this, thanks to another blogger posting the info for all of us! So I figured I'd share it with all of you in case you're interested.

Check out this great tutorial on removing the Blogger navigation bar from your blog.

It was super quick and easy to do this.

Thank you so much for that info. I have always hated that feature. Very easy to get rid of.

You know I did this, liked the way it looked but found working on my blog difficult without the bar there. Adding a post, editing something, adding something to the layout was a nuisance. The only way I could figure out how to get where I wanted was to click on my profile, then from there to my dashboard, then to whatever I needed. I ended up reversing it and adding the bar back.

Have you experienced that?

Sandy -

What I have done is bookmarked the Blogger site.

This way I just click through and sign into Blogger and have easy access to my Dashboard and anything else I need for my blog.

In case anyone is interested in whether or not hiding the blogger navbar is a violation of the Blogger TOS, it isn't. See the following post with an explanation by a Blogger employee:
