Antibiotics, Growth Hormones & Pesticides

Recently I was asked to sample some Horizon Organic Milk. Now I'd been hearing alot about all kinds of organic foods and was feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all. I mean, really, is everything we eat that bad for us? Do we need to switch to all organics?

Well, there's isn't really a definitive answer. The experts just don't agree. But one thing is for sure. Going organic is really good for the environment. And it's probably pretty darn good for our bodies as well.

But do we need to switch to all organic food? Nope. You can easily just switch to a few organics here and there. Do what you're comfortable with and what your budget allows.

It turns out, that if you are going to switch to any organics at all, the number one thing on your list should be dairy. So I was thrilled that, as a BzzAgent, I was asked to sample some Horizon Organic Milk. Really what could I lose? Organic milk is good for me, good for the environment, and it would be free to sample!

Anyway, they sent me a coupon to redeem for a free half gallon of the Horizon milk. So I tried the 1% kind. And you know what? It was pretty darn good. Actually really good. Better than regular milk. And it doesn't have all those pesky artificial growth hormones, pesticides, and antibiotics added in like regular milk does. So I'm making the switch to organic milk.

Would you like to make the switch as well? Wanna try out the Horizon Organic Milk for free? I have a coupon for a free half gallon (up to $3.99) and I'll mail it out to one lucky commenter. Just leave a comment on this post telling us about your experience with organics. Are you using any organics? And if so, which ones? I'll pick a commenter at random and post the winner on Thursday 4/3. So make sure you come back and check to see if you've won!

**Just wanted to let you know that I was able to sample this milk, and other products, for free because I am a BzzAgent. But this has not affected my opinions in any way. I always give my honest opinion of products no matter if the products are free, sponsored, or if I am affiliated with them. Want to become a BzzAgent? It's free. Check it out here.**

I would love some free milk. I actually have coupons in my purse right now for Horizons Organic milk that I got off their website. I agree that it is better tasting then regular milk.

We have been drinking organic milk for a year and a half, and we love it! We can not afford to do everything organic, but we thought we would start with milk and some produce. Another plus is it last longer. The sell by dates are usually much longer than regular milk.

Aww. I'm a member of BzzAgent but I didn't get invited to this campaign. :(

I'd love to win the coupon though. I'm trying to work organics into our budget at the moment. We're buying all organic fruits and veggies and now I'm starting dairy and chicken. It's a good bit more expensive for us but I know that it's best for my little boy.
