Shopping Incentives

Recently I got another $25 gift card for Chili's in the mail and it reminded me of how much I loooove shopping incentives. I've told you before about the MyPoints program that I have belonged to for several years now. If you missed this, make sure you check it out. I've earned tons of gift cards from them for shopping that I was going to do anyway. Oh and I got tons of extra points just for reading my emails from them and occasionally answering their online surveys.

So not that long ago I read about ebates, another shopping incentive program. Instead of giving you points towards free gift cards, you simply get cash back. The cash back is a percentage (up to 25%) of what you spend on each purchase. I joined up about a month ago and got $5 cash back just for signing up. Today I made my first two purchases through ebates and I should see a few dollars, plus my free $5 for joining, in a refund check pretty soon. Yay! It's like getting a pat on the back for shopping so well.

Now I have two incentive programs to choose from each time I shop. And my biggest dilemma now is just figuring out which one will give me the most for my money. I don't know about you, but that kind of dilemma is never a bad one for me.
