When there's no time to read a book...

Once I became a parent in March 06, I found it difficult to fit time into my schedule to sit and read a book. And then when Baby Dear started walking several months ago, it became darn near impossible to actually read a book. Since then (with Baby Dear running around like wild and Baby #2 on the way) I have given up the idea completely. I don't think I'll read another book until they are grown and out of the house!

Don't get me wrong. I do plenty of reading on a daily basis. It just mostly consists of reading kiddie board books with big, bright pictures and very few actual words. Somehow I also manage to fit in short spurts of time where I can read an article in a magazine. Magazines are great for my situation right now. I don't have to worry about being halfway through a book, then not being able to read for awhile, only to come back to it and completely forget what the book was even about.

One of my favorite sites to look for magazines is MagsForLess - over 1500 magazines at the lowest prices! Many times they really do offer the best prices around. They have a huge selection of magazines and even offer several magazine bundle deals for one low price! They make it easy for you to start new subscriptions or renew old subscriptions on their site.

One thing to keep in mind, is that magazines don't really make their money from your subscription sale. They make their money from the advertisements that go into their magazines. They can get more money for their advertisement sales if their subscription numbers are high. So many times magazines are willing to offer great deals on subscriptions or they may even give them away for free.

Right now MagsForLess is offering some great deals. You can get a bundle package of 1 year subscriptions to Parents, Child & Family Fun magazines for only $6.99, Disney Adventures magazine for $4.99, and Working Mother Magazine for $4.99. A few others are a bundle package of both Cosmo Girl and Elle Girl for only $5.99, ESPN magazine for $6.00, Golf for $4.99, Women's Day for $4.99 and a bundle package of Fitness and Shape magazines for $6.99.
