Target, Coupons, Deals... Yay!

Yesterday I had such a fantastic shopping experience at Target that I had to tell you all about it. I know it sounds exciting, doesn't it? Well anyway off I went to Target with my list and my purse full of coupons that I was hoping to use.

Just about every item I purchased was on sale and I was loving it. I also had coupons to make most of those sale prices even better! Most of the stuff that I purchased wasn't even stuff that I needed. That's right, I buy stuff I don't need. I may not need them now, but I will certainly need those things later. That's because I shop for things when they are on sale and I have coupons for them and I stock up for when I will need them. This ensures 3 things.

  1. That I get the best deals on what I buy and save my family tons of money.
  2. I never run out of things because I am always stocked up.
  3. I am never frantically running around because we just used the last roll of toilet paper.

I was able to get out of the store for under $100 and that is rare for me because we wait and only shop when we have a big list of stuff to buy. This cuts down on unnecessary spending, conserves gas, and pollutes the earth just alittle bit less.

Anyway, I was so happy to be able to save $12.50 off my total with various coupons! My best deal was on a big box of Pampers Cruisers for Baby Dear. Lately, I've been buying diapers from Diapers.com because they've been offering me the best deals. But this time I was able to get this great deal from Target.

The box of 100 size 4 Pampers Cruisers were regularly priced at $26 and on clearance for $22.10. I had a Target coupon for $1.50 off and another $1.50 off manufacturer's coupon. This brought the price down to $19.10... not bad at all! But... inside the box was a little Gerber/Target coupon book. There are five $1.00 off coupons for Gerber toddler foods and I will absolutely use all five of those coupons. So this really brings my cost down to $14.10 and puts the per diaper price at about 14 cents a piece. Can't really get much better than that!

I love getting coupons! Try this website to get MORE of the baby food coupons. You can use as many as you want at a time!! My neighbor used 13, and got 28 of the two packs of the baby food for $13!!! That is more than 50% off! Check it out! They publish coupons once a week, and they don't expire until the 15th of August! Stock up!!
